A global thought leader in mainframe technology and security and well-known across the industry, Mark heads our technical teams. With over 40 years’ experience working in IBM Z across numerous industries and diverse mainframe environments, and in technical, management and strategic roles, his deep expertise and delivery-focused approach are highly valued by Vertali clients, IBM and third-party technology partners. Mark is also Region Manager for GS-UK.

Nick is responsible for the financial and corporate strategy of Vertali and has worked in the Mainframe Industry since 2005. A qualified Chartered Accountant and successful entrepreneur, Nick has a proven track record in diligently building, running, and selling businesses in the automotive, technology and retail sectors. A strategic leader adept at navigating complex financial landscapes, optimizing operations, and driving sustainable growth, Nick is known for his astute decision-making and fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve corporate objectives.

Gary has more 40 years’ IBM mainframe experience as systems architect, programme and project manager, delivering high value services to UK and international blue chip clients. His management experience is backed by mainframe systems and application programming and database design within multiple environments, and in product pre-sales and post-sales support for ISV mainframe products. He also has significant platform transition experience.

Helen has more than 20 years’ experience in setting up, developing, and managing IT PMOs across a range of industries. Recent roles include Operations Director in the mainframe space, and senior positions in governance, planning, business strategy, PMO, and assurance. Often responsible for teams tasked with delivering multimillion pound IT change initiatives, and helping CTOs and CIOs to run their departments, Helen has specialist skills in forward planning transformational change to deliver business strategy, creating focused methodologies to deliver projects and programmes more effectively, and quality assurance.

A specialist in designing and developing leading-edge system software products, Tony has more than 40 years’ experience in IBM z mainframes and related fields. A recognised expert in networking and communications, his earlier career took in systems programming and consultancy, providing high value services to clients globally. He then applied his experiences to develop and deliver innovative new mainframe software solutions. Many of these were acquired by leading software corporations, for whom Tony also held lead architect and director roles.

Linda has been involved in the mainframe software and services industry for over 25 years, working with top FTSE 100 clients. She is responsible for building relations with our existing and new clients. One of her passions is ensuring the mainframe lives on. Linda’s Irish charm, determination, and passion to succeed has added to her overall success. She has been pivotal in helping clients meet operational needs, address skills shortages and offering customized solutions to ensure their mainframe systems and businesses run smoother.

With more than a decade’s experience in mainframes, systems engineering and cybersecurity, Leanne leads Vertali’s technical delivery of mainframe security and infrastructure projects. Her focus is on helping organizations to secure, protect and optimize their infrastructure and related applications. An ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Leanne has an MSC in cybersecurity, regularly presents at industry events, and writes articles for channels including SHARE’d Intelligence, Planet Mainframe and TechChannel. Leanne is also Conference Manager for GS-UK.

Dallas has more than 40 years’ experience in the IT industry, with a heritage in the mainframe having worked for Fujitsu, ICL and Broadcom (formerly CA) and with IBM during his career. He is skilled in Management, Strategy, Sales, Software Development and Service Delivery, predominantly in the Banking and Finance Sectors, along with establishing and driving start-up Fintech organisations. For many years Dallas was CEO of The Business Agility Group (Australia) Pty Ltd (TBAG), now assuming the role of Regional Director for Vertali APAC to drive mainframe product and services within the region.
