New to mainframes? We want to meet you
We identify high-potential candidates, who can commit to a 5-year programme split into 3 stages. Stage 1 – a structured broad overview with formal courses to attend. Stage 2 – more advanced courses including client facing work. Stage 3 – full time allocation to client work, including specialist courses. Each Stage provides mentoring, support, and guidance throughout. This is a professional role – not an internship or study course.
The most effective way for our people to develop is through self-guided and self-motivated learning combined with practical problem-solving and hands-on experience. During Stage 3, Vertali New to Zs become fully fledged professional mainframers.
We typically welcome a new cohort each summer. The UK head office is based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, and the roles are primarily office-based to ensure participants gain the maximum benefit from on-the-job learning experience.
